Description:Unique among the world's high performance helicopters is the turbo-powered H-43B Huskie, the first helicopter designed specifically to perform the local base-crash rescue mission of the USAF's Air Rescue Service. The Huskie's twin intermeshing rotors counter-rotate, eliminating the need for a tail rotor. All power is used directly in the main rotors, which gives the Huskie greater lift per horsepower than any other helicopter. A stable aircraft which virtually no operational limitiations, the Huskie has proven very versatile. The gas turbine engine requires no warmup, making the aircraft ideal for rescue work. Plastic unassembled model with gluing and painting required. Intermediate to advanced skill level.
