Instructions:

Gather supplies.
Mix white paint with a bit of yellow and brown for pale background color.
Airbrush leaf stencil on a quarter of the canvas.
Remove the stencil and airbrush it again until the other three quarters of the canvas are covered with the same design.
Mix white paint with a bit of green and red. Airbrush leaf stencil twice tilting it at interesting angles and setting one higher than the other.
Tape down flower stencils and quickly apply globs of caulking to each. Spread it with an old credit card without flattening the texture completely.
Remove the stencil slowly and carefully to prevent lifting of the design.
When caulking is set, press a foam applicator onto a wet sponge then into the powder. Dab the powder onto the caulking.
Outline one side of the green leaves and stems with an alcohol pen.

Tips:

To prevent paint build up on the stencil between applications, immerse it in warm sudsy water.
Keep a separate tub of warm sudsy water to clean the caulking from the stencil.
If some of the caulking comes off the canvas when removing the stencil, simply apply more straight from the applicator tip.
If pigment powder falls into unintended canvas areas, blow on it to remove it. You can also use a fine wet brush to wash away any pigment dried on the canvas.
